About INDIAN ASSOCIATION OF DENMARK (IAD)

Indian Association of Denmark (IAD) was established in 2015. It is an initiative of Mr. Hemanth Kumar Kuna in cooperation with friends/professionals. It is registered as a non-profit and non-political association, meaning that it is a volunteer based organization which aims to promote the Indian cultural festivals and integration of newcomers, coordinate network and unite all activities of Indians residing in Danish society.

IAD’s mission is to create positive relations and better cultural awareness between Indian and Danish inhabitants. 

IAD helps to provide the best possible information for all Indian newcomers in Denmark. 

IAD intends to welcome and enlist all existing associations and organizations of Indian/Danish initiatives in Denmark, in order to be part of IAD as partners and hereby meet the IAD mission.

Main Objectives of IAD, but not limited to:

  • Creating positive relations and better cultural awareness between Indian-Danish inhabitants.
  • Organizing events and promoting the cultural festivals, sports activities, integration of newcomers, coordinate social networks and unite all activities for children and adults of Indians residing in Danish society.
  • Inviting Danes as well as foreign expats to learn about our culture and activities.
  • Assist in providing the best possible information. Not only for newcomers but also for Indians already resident in Denmark, regardless of background and duration of residency.
